A return to networking
Recently technicians at Leeds have seen a return to in person events and networking activities.
This included a PRiSE briefing session for technicians considering applying for HEA Fellowships, with a focus on many of the activities that we undertake that support teaching, outside of the usual formats. Technical colleagues who have already received accreditation shared their experience with us.

A Technicians’ Network meeting took place with presentations about the Technician Commitment, The Edge’s newly upgraded gym facilities and an opportunity to meet the Technician Champions and our technical representatives on the Research Culture Steering Group. It was good to welcome both technicians based in faculties and IT technician colleagues based across campus. We are keen to encourage any technicians based at the University to join our Technicians’ Network.
