Digital Transformation Strategy: Last chance to have your say
A final call has been issued to have your say about our new Digital Transformation Strategy.
The strategy’s purpose is to provide an over-arching view of our vision and aspiration in relation to digital transformation of our operational activities, student education, research and innovation and internationalisation.
It describes our vision for how we will work with our staff, students, alumni, partners and our local and global community to harness digital technologies and approaches to enrich our activities, contribute to global challenges and reduce inequalities.
Through our digital transformation activities, we will be a leading digitally-enabled university, having a global impact through education, training and research.
The Digital Transformation Strategy is organised under three over-arching objectives:
- Enhance ways of working, campus facilities and operational activity
- Improve our capabilities to conduct high-quality, collaborative and globally impactful challenge-based research and innovation; and
- Enhance our educational provision and grow our fully online education portfolio.
The draft Digital Transformation Strategy has been created following discussions with a number of staff and students during the past four months. Now, it’s being finalised for endorsement by the University’s Council, and we would like to gather any final views.
Please email the Digital Transformation team with your comments before the closing date of Friday 12 March.
