Easter in Leeds 2019
After the success of Christmas in Leeds, a new activity and events programme is available to share with students and postgraduate researchers staying in Leeds over Easter.
This Easter, together with Leeds University Union, we’re hosting a range of events for students staying in Leeds over the holidays, these include volunteer taster sessions, food workshops, café events, a rugby match, a countryside walk and much more.
The activity and events programme proved hugely successful over Christmas attracting more than 200 students and their families, with many commenting on how much they appreciated the programme:
“At a time when there are no society events or timetabled academic commitments, it is very important that the University provides something that students can timetable into their empty weeks to give them some structure and opportunities for social interaction.
“These events made the homesickness blow away and the way we shared happiness among each other was great. I wish to attend events like these in future as well.
“It is very important to know and feel that you are not alone in this city. Thank you.”
