The Print & Copy Bureau (formerly Media Services)

Media Services has changed its name and we think you’ll like the changes it brings.

The Print & Copy Bureau is delighted to be able to offer the following services to University staff and students, with immediate effect. We remain a `one stop shop` for all printing and copying requirements.

Location & Opening times

The service is located, as before, on the ground floor (level 6) in the Roger Stevens building. The service is open from 8.30am until 5.00pm. Regrettably, there is no longer a satellite service in the Leeds University Students Union building.

Staff in faculties and schools can contact their Faculty Marketing Manager in the first instance to discuss their design requirements or liaise with the framework suppliers direct. New developments coming soon

The following services will be introduced over the next few months:

Open Days - during term time, the Print & Copy Bureau will hold a series of Open Days for University staff to review the current services and discuss their projects directly with Print & Copy Bureau staff who will be on hand to provide help and know how.

Focus Groups - meetings will be arranged with key personnel in Schools and Services to ensure your needs are met.

On Line Ordering - to improve the process of placing orders we will provide customers with the opportunity to place new and repeat orders on line using a dedicated ordering facility. This service is planned to be introduced before Christmas 2009.

New printing options will be introduced to provide a `Books on Demand Service`, specifically for out of stock or out of print books. This service will be provided in association with Blackwell UK Limited.

To speed up the process of providing quotations for printing services we have introduced a rapid response pricing program which will reduce the time taken to provide prices and therefore enable projects to commence with minimum delay.

A new Photo +Plus service is to be introduced to create keepsakes that turn digital photos into high-quality, themed photo books, calendars, and cards.
