Renewal of external signage

The final phase of the renewal of external signage has begun this week, following on from the successful updating of the map, directional signage and building name signs over the past eighteen months.

The installation and removal of regulatory and information signs is due to take place during June, and will affect almost every building on the main campus, Western campus and at the Fairbairn site. British Standard health and safety signs will not be removed except by prior agreement with the signage contact who has liaised with Estate Services on behalf of their Faculty or Service.

A new guide to signage will be launched in the autumn and will be available on the University's website; all external signs of any kind will need to be arranged via Estate Services henceforth - contact s.j.winter@leeds.ac.uk for further information.
