THE-QS league table

Leeds is ranked 99th – a rise of five places – in the THES-QS world university rankings. The University is one of only 17 UK universities in the top 100.

The principal factor behind our rise in the rankings is Leeds' improved performance in the Academic Survey, a worldwide survey of academics who are asked to list the top 30 institutions in their subject area. This survey contributes 40% towards the overall score. Another contributing factor is a rise from 30th to 25th place in the survey of global recruiters, a survey in which employers are asked to rate the universities which produce the best graduates. This survey is worth 10% of the overall score.
