Celebrate graduation this winter
Graduation is a special event which invites our whole community to celebrate, reflect and get involved.

From the time students join us at Leeds, as a community we work towards seeing them safely and successfully through their student journey to their graduation day.
No matter what role you hold, whether you’re working directly with students or not, the contributions you make every day play an essential part in getting students across the stage and to the next chapter of their lives – and that’s something worth celebrating.
This year, graduation ceremonies will be taking place in the Great Hall from 11-19 December with virtual graduation taking place on 8 and 19 December. Lots of activity will be happening in and around Parkinson building and Leeds University Union (LUU).
You can find the full ceremony schedule on our For Students pages where you can also find information about other logistics such as where the ticket desk, gowns and photography will be.
As well as soaking up the atmosphere on campus over the two-week period, here are some of the other ways you can get involved:
- Watch a live feed of the ceremonies in the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre or Terrace (LUU) or you can watch online
- Check the University’s social media channels where we will be posting celebratory content over the two weeks using #LeedsGrad and #ForeverLeeds
- The celebration tent outside LUU will also be open for graduates and guests to enjoy.
