Upgrade to Student Record System 

An email sent to al staff on Friday 16 June by Professor Jeff Grabill, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Student Education, and Rachel Brealey, Chief Operating Officer.

Dear colleague,

As you are aware, we have been making essential updates to our Student Record System, and planned Banner downtime commenced at 4pm yesterday.  
We have made great progress and completed our initial steps. To allow for the greatest chance of success, we have decided to restrict the use of Banner to those directly involved in the upgrade process and testing until 10am Tuesday 20 June.   
Please plan on the basis that you will only have access to live Banner from 10am Tuesday 20 June. 
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be mindful that colleagues involved and impacted by the upgrades may be faced with time-sensitive, business-critical challenges and additional workload. Therefore, we would like to ask for kindness, consideration and patience during this time.
