Research Computing Conference
12-13 July
This conference, open to all researchers, will showcase our fantastic computational research with opportunities for networking, problem solving and learning best practice. Our Research IT programme team and Research Software Engineers will be on hand to field any queries. Register your interest in attending on the event page where researchers can also submit an abstract for the conference.
Sign up | Charity five-a-side football tournament
12 noon to 4pm, 26 June
Sport and Physical Activity is hosting a five-a-side football tournament at The Edge to fundraise for the Gryphons Abroad programme. This project engages young people in rural South Africa in a programme of cycling, sport and education. Tournament registration is £30 per team. LIDA x Turing 5 Year Anniversary Event
10am to 2pm, 6 July
Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA) has been the official partner of The Alan Turing Institute for 5 years and we’re celebrating. Hear about the past, present and future of what this collaboration means for you and the University. Join us in Room 8.43Y, Worsley Building for talks from speakers across the University and the Alan Turing Institute to hear about data science and AI projects, PhD Enrichment Schemes, Data Study Groups and more. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
ESA Fringe Conference 2023
11-15 September
The European Space Agency (ESA) is co-organising its 2023 Fringe Conference with the University of Leeds. Open to colleagues involved in science, and students, the conference will be an exchange of knowledge between academics and the space industry.
