Research Culture Change for Leaders   

Applications close on 19 May for the pilot of a new Organisational Development and Professional Learning (OD&PL) programme providing support for leaders to create a positive working environment and culture for researchers to thrive. The programme of five sessions runs from June to September.

Register for a training session with The Conversation, the news analysis and opinion website featuring content written collaboratively by academics and professional journalists and read by 5.5 million people in the UK each month. Taking place on Zoom, the training will provide an introduction to writing for the site. Contact the External Communications and Campaigns team at pressoffice@leeds.ac.uk for further information.

There’s still time to apply for the September PGCAP cohort ahead of the deadline of 5pm on 31 May. The PGCAP aims to enhance your academic practice, connect you with peers and challenge your thinking. It’s also one route to gaining an Advance HE Fellowship (FHEA). 

TIPS Blog | Inclusive assessment series 

A new series of six articles exploring inclusive assessment is starting this week on the Teaching, Innovation and Practice in Student Education (TIPS) blog. The first article, written by Shahla Ghobadi, Associate Professor in Information Management in the Leeds University Business School, explores approaches to utilising artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for inclusive assessment. The remaining articles, all written by colleagues from Leeds, will be released weekly. 

How to make LinkedIn work for you 

Join a new OD&PL programme to enhance your use of LinkedIn. Designed for colleagues in grade two to five roles, explore how you can use LinkedIn to improve your personal brand and discover how an effective LinkedIn profile can help you to find the right job, connect with others and learn the skills to succeed in your career. The programme consists of three online sessions in June.
