World Mental Health Day 2022
Take time for yourself this World Mental Health Day on Monday 10 October.

We all have mental health, just like physical health. Some people call mental health emotional health or wellbeing and it’s just as important as good physical health.
The World Health Organisation marks World Mental Health Day annually on this date, recognising it as an opportunity to raise global awareness of mental health issues and to stimulate advocacy.

If you are struggling and feel you need some support, our Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service provides advice, information and counselling in person, online and by phone. Issues do not need to be work related. This service is completely confidential – you can self-refer and whatever you discuss with your counsellor will remain private.
The Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service, with OD&PL, also provides a rolling programme of workshops and courses in psychological health, personal resilience, mindfulness, emotional and social competencies at work.
