Matthew Hoyles
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on Saturday 14 May 2022, of Matthew Hoyles.
Matt joined the University in September 2005, working as Bar Steward at Oxley Hall. He continued in this role until the Oxley site was sold in 2017, at which time he moved to Devonshire Hall where he worked to support the team in both the bar and the maintenance department.
The funeral service will be held at 1.30pm on Friday 1 July, at Alford Crematorium, Station Road, Alford, LN13 9LH, followed by the wake at Nelson Butt Pub, Spilsby PE23 5JT. The family have requested no flowers, but donations to can be made to Matt’s preferred charity – the Against Malaria Foundation
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on the day of the funeral in Matt’s memory.
