IT update | Logging into Office 365 applications

Dear colleague
On Friday 10 June you may be prompted for Duo authentication when you first log on to a Microsoft application, such as Outlook.
As part of our Digital Transformation Programme, we’re working on making our University accounts even more secure. We’re rolling out changes over several months and our next update will take place on Thursday evening. As a result, some users may be prompted for their Duo authentication code when logging into applications such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook on Friday morning. Some users may also notice minor changes to the login screen.
