Simon Wellings
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 25 January 2022, of Simon Wellings.
Simon graduated from the University with a BSc in Chemistry in 1989. He was formerly a Research Technician in the School of Physics and Astronomy and, latterly, in the School of Chemistry, for many years.
The private funeral service will be held on 22 February, followed by a celebration of his life from 3.15pm to 8pm at Kippax Welfare Sports and Social Club. The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast in his memory on that day.
In Simon’s memory, a donations page has been set up to raise funds for St. Gemma’s Hospice.
