Financial wellbeing

As part of our Fairer Future for All pledge to support a healthy and fulfilled staff community, we’re offering colleagues the opportunity to attend a number of online sessions to learn more about financial wellbeing. Limited places are available to book for these pilot sessions on Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 February.

What is financial wellbeing?

Financial wellbeing strategies address all employee needs, from everyday costs to long-term investments.

Whilst we currently offer colleagues financial support, including a range of discounts, support with savings, impartial advice on pensions, staff assistant funding and visa loans, we can now support you further in the area of financial education.

Who are the sessions for?

The sessions are for all colleagues. They cover a wide range of topics, so there’s something for everyone. We aim to provide colleagues with the tools and knowledge to take positive action towards financial wellbeing.

Who are the sessions hosted by?

The sessions are hosted by an impartial advisor from Wealth at Work. Wealth at Work is a specialist provider of financial education and guidance in the workplace. It provides online content, workshops and webinars and regulated advice for individuals.

After attending a session, colleagues will be offered the chance to receive a call from a guidance specialist to help signpost them to additional financial support or financial advice.

What can I expect to learn at the online sessions?

Depending on which session you choose to attend, you can expect to hear more about:

  • budgeting
  • borrowing and debt
  • savings and investments
  • workplace benefits
  • tax
  • understanding your payslip
  • workplace retirement; and
  • workplace pensions.
