Professor Ernst Wangermann
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on Friday 26 November 2021, of Professor Ernst Wangermann, former Reader in the School of History.
Ernst was appointed as Lecturer in Modern History in 1962, being appointed as Senior Lecturer in 1970, and finally as Reader in 1977. He left Leeds in 1984 to take up a Professorship in Salzburg University in his native Austria.
