Asymptomatic test centre at Cromer Terrace reopens

The University’s asymptomatic testing centre is temporarily reopening for staff and students who need to be on campus and require a lateral flow test.

This is a walk-in centre, so no appointment is required. The centre is open from 8am to 4pm on Wednesday 19 and Friday 21 January, and from 10am to 6pm on Thursday 20 January.

Staff and students who need to be on campus and require a lateral flow test can do so at the centre in Cromer Terrace. You should visit the centre either the day before, or the morning of your first day back on campus. You will need to wear a face covering. You will perform your own test and then your results will be sent to you by NHS Test and Trace.

See the coronavirus website for further information.

Lateral flow home test kits can be collected from the LUU helpdesk or the Laidlaw, Edward Boyle, Brotherton and Health Sciences libraries. Supply is limited, so please only take what you need. Kits are also available from local pharmacies or they can be ordered online from the GOV.UK website.
