Anna Whitehead
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, in late November, of Anna Whitehead, Research Technician in the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine (LICAMM).
Anna came to the University in 2015 and was initially based in the Leeds Institute of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at St James’s University Hospital. In 2017, she transferred to LICAMM, and to Dr Lee Roberts’ Research Group investigating adipose tissue in diabetes.
A talented young researcher, she will be greatly missed by her friends and colleagues.
A private celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday 15 December 2021, on which day the flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast in her memory.
