Christmas period | Payroll information

Dear colleagues,
We notified you on Tuesday 19 October that the University closure period will be extended in recognition of another challenging year, this includes a fourth additional day granted due to the extra bank holiday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (which falls on a University closure date).
The last working day for the majority of University staff will be Friday 17 December, returning on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
Payroll and pay day
In December, the deadline for submitting payroll changes to HR to be processed for that month’s payroll is Wednesday 1 December. Pay day will be Friday 17 December, and there will be more than six weeks before the next pay day on Monday 31 January 2022.
