Emeritus Professor John Morrison
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 24 September 2021, of Emeritus Professor John Morrison.
John was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Physiology in 1970. Following promotions to Senior Lecturer (1976) and Reader (1982), he became Professor of Physiology in 1988. John took early retirement in 1998 and the title and status of Emeritus Professor was bestowed upon him in 2009.
The funeral service will be held on Friday 22 October 2021, at 11.30am at Lawnswood Crematorium, on which day the flag on the Parkinson Building will flown at half-mast in his memory.
