University print services

All University print services – except those provided by the Print and Mail Service (formerly PCB) – have been temporarily suspended.

This is to protect our network from a security issue impacting all Microsoft Windows print services across the UK.

Microsoft is working to fix the issue, but this may take some time. We have therefore put in place a free campus printing service, via the Print and Mail Service, which staff, students and postgraduates can access.

The service has been designed to make it as easy as possible to use. Simply click the appropriate ‘staff’ or ‘student’ tab from the Print and Mail Service homepage, which will take you through to the online print ordering system. When submitting your order, make sure you select no ‘payment required’ in the checkout.

Staff can collect orders in person at the Print and Mail Service premises on Level 6 of the Roger Stevens Building, or delivery can be arranged where possible.

We will update you as soon as we can, but in the meantime, you can access the latest information via the IT website or by following the IT Service Desk Twitter account.

Best wishes,
