Advanced Science Warehouse upgrade
Improvements to the Advanced Science Warehouse will take place on Tuesday 15 June.
Designed to request low value, high volume items – such as stationery or research and teaching materials – from approved suppliers via electronic catalogues, the system will be upgraded to improve the user experience.
While the core functionality will remain the same, the look and feel of the screens will change.
Key updates include:
- a single log in, which enables users to purchase across different faculties and services
- simplified workflows – streamlining the order process, from initial request through to approval, to make this more efficient and align with our other purchasing systems, including SAP Intranet Purchase Requisition (SIPR) and Key Travel
- enhanced functionality, such as faster product searches; and
- the facility to add multiple VAT rates to a single order.
