Trevor Lambourne

Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the recent death of Trevor Lambourne, Research and Innovation Manager in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Trevor joined the University as an Administrator in 2005, before becoming a Commercial Manager in 2012 and R&I Manager in 2015. He provided extensive support to colleagues in the Schools of Maths, Food Science and Nutrition, Physics, Chemistry, Textiles and Colour Chemistry.

Trevor was much valued by the many academic colleagues he worked with and, in particular, colleagues have been reflecting on his constantly positive, can do attitude and that he was always helpful and engaging.

Trevor was well-liked by his colleagues in the Research & Innovation Service who greatly appreciated his collaborative approach, his tenacity and his tremendous sense of fun. He will be greatly missed.

Once the funeral details are known, arrangements will be made to fly the flag on the Parkinson Building at half-mast in his memory.
