The University's new strategy – Universal Values, Global Change sets out our ambitions to build a thriving community and a collaborative culture to make an impact locally and globally in the areas of research and innovation, student education, digital transformation and international.

To launch our new strategy Professor Simone Buitendijk, Vice-Chancellor, and our Deputy Vice-Chancellors held two Leeds conversations events to share our objectives in the areas of research and innovation, student education, digital transformation, international and our core overarching elements of community, culture and impact.

Next steps

We received around 200 questions across both sessions from colleagues, and we’ll be sharing answers to some of the most common questions asked very soon. You can also read Professor Simone Buitendijk’s Inside Track, where she explores our vision and the themes of community, culture and impact.

Later in the spring we'll be publishing our five-year delivery plan, setting out in more detail how the vision and objectives in the strategy will be delivered sustainably and effectively.

Leeds conversations

This event is part of a new series of events, called 'Leeds conversations', where colleagues can discover more about our key strategic priorities and activities from our University leaders.
