Shamin Parthab
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 22 October 2020, of Sharmin Parthab.
Shamin joined the staff as a tutor in the Lifelong Learning Centre in 2016, and was a highly-valued colleague.
She started a PhD in the School of Education in January 2014, researching the development of vocational identity by 16-19 year-old students on two vocational Further Education courses.
The funeral service will be held on 10 November 2020, on which day the flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast in her memory.
