Ian Brine
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 18 June 2020, of Ian Brine, Residential Service Supervisor at Montague Burton Halls of Residence.
Ian joined Residential Services in September 2007 as Stores Person at Bodington Hall.
Following the closure of Bodington Hall in 2013, he went on to work as a Residential Service Supervisor at Montague Burton before being transferred to Sentinel Towers.
He took part in some of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Volunteer days and was an avid supporter of Leeds United.
He was transferred back to Montague Burton a couple of years ago before being diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in early 2019, retiring recently due to ill-health.
The funeral service will be held at 10.00am on Friday 10 July 2020 at Christ Church, Upper Armley, on which day the flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast in his memory.
