USS pension: update on joint talks on future of scheme
The fifth statement from the meeting of member and employer representatives to discuss the future of the USS has been published.
The statement follows four other initial meetings between the University and College Union (UCU), Universities UK (UUK) and Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) in relation to the recommendations of the Joint Expert Panel's (JEP) second report.
The first statement was issued on Friday 17 January, the second on Thursday 23 January, the third on Tuesday 28 January and the fourth on Wednesday 29 January.
The five initial meetings were facilitated by JEP Chair, Joanne Segars.
