What next at Leeds? Draft vision and strategy now published

Development of our University’s vision and strategy for the next decade has been continuing, and now a draft has been published: ‘Making a Global Impact'.

Making a Global Impact, our draft vision and strategy* sets out an ambitious direction for the University for the 2020s and will provide the basis for the consultation with colleagues and students that is due to take place over the coming months.

The draft vision and strategy has been developed with reference to our values and our current strengths, and also to:

  • the progress we are making in our core academic purpose of delivering high quality-student education and research, both with an increasingly international outlook and focus,
  • the essential role our professional services play in delivering this agenda,
  • the University’s roots in the city and region and
  • feedback gathered via the five What next at Leeds? sessions we held with almost 900 colleagues in June and July.

We look forward to your insights into Making a Global Impact when the consultation launches in due course.
