Christmas in Leeds 2019

There’s no need for students to be lonely this Christmas!

Students can take advantage of a whole host of activities planned in Leeds this Christmas

Students enjoy some festive activities

Students and postgraduate researchers staying in the city during the festive season can take advantage of a whole host of activities planned as part of the Christmas in Leeds programme.

The scheme provides opportunities to meet others, experience Christmas traditions and find out about help and support at this time of year.

Co-ordinated by the University’s Global Community team, colleagues from across the University and LUU have collaborated again this year to offer a variety of events, both on and off campus, including during the closed period. Many events are family friendly, also welcoming students’ partners and children.

Please encourage students and postgraduate researchers to visit the Global Community out of term page and join the Facebook group so they don’t feel lonely this Christmas.

Christmas in Leeds printed booklets will be available at various locations across campus from Monday 25 November, containing events listings, information about what to expect during the festive period and signposting to sources of help and support. Download the online version here

Email Global Community to request resources to promote the programme to students.
