Free childcare for open days
Bright Beginnings is offering free childcare places for colleagues working on Saturday open days later this year.
The University will fund child places at Bright Beginnings, with staff able to book a full day or shorter slot depending on when they need to be available.
The childcare centre has play equipment for all age groups. Baby and toddler rooms are downstairs while older children can enjoy the upstairs facilities, including computers, table tennis, a pool table and games consoles. There are also covered balcony areas and gardens.
Whether inside or out, the centre’s staff will offer a range of activities, including creative play, face painting and games. Please note that in contrast to previous years, the centre will not be able to cater for lunch therefore a packed lunch will need to be provided.
Complete this form if you need childcare on Saturday 7 September. The deadline for submission is Friday 30 August.

Please return the completed form to Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre, Mount Preston Street. A paper copy, signed by your department head/manager, must be supplied.
