‘Proud’ of Quality award
It’s official – Leeds University Union (LUU) is ‘excellent’.
LUU staff receive the Quality Students Union award at the House of Commons
LUU has become the first organisation to be reaccredited as a Quality Students Union.
It was graded ‘excellent’ in all 12 categories of the official assessment, conducted by the National Union of Students (NUS).
Lauren Huxley, LUU Union Affairs Officer, said: “We're so proud.
“This is evidence of all the hard work and dedication that staff and students put in throughout the year to make sure students love their time at Leeds, so a massive thank you to everyone who has given their time to make LUU the fabulous organisation it is.”
LUU staff members were presented with the award during a ceremony held by the NUS in the House of Commons.
