Mrs Joan Arnold
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 8 July 2019, of Mrs Joan Arnold, former Senior Clerk in the Office of the Registrar.
Joan came to the University in 1989, holding positions in the Hospitality Office (1992-95) and the City and Regional Office (1995-2000). Joan retired in 2000 after eleven years’ service to the University. Joan was a well-respected and much valued member of the Registry and colleague and friend to many. She will be remembered here with warmth and affection.
The funeral will be held at 1.40pm on Friday 9 August at Rawdon Crematorium, Leeds Road, Rawdon, LS19 6JP. The reception afterwards will be held at The Laureates, Shakespeare Road, Guiseley LS20 9BR.
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on the day of the funeral in Joan’s memory.
