Rainbow Parkinson to celebrate LGBT month February 2018

5 July 2019 marks the second International Day of LGBT+ people in STEM.

Equality Policy Unit (EPU) in collaboration with the Faculties of Biological Sciences, Engineering, Environment, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Medicine and Health will be marking the achievements and highlighting the challenges of LGBT+ people in STEM in a lunchtime event.

The event will be an opportunity to hear about peoples’ personal experiences, learn about the University’s involvement in the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Inclusion Matters Programme and contribute to ideas for future events.

The event will run from noon until 1.30pm, with lunch provided.

Visit the EPU event page to reserve your free place and further information.
