Packed programme of events at Nexus
Here's a taster of the ongoing programme of events that Nexus will host to promote our research and innovation strengths and bring together with our academic community.

The programme kicks off on 8 April through a partnership
with Leeds University Business School (LUBS) for this years Festival of Ideas
an annual event bringing together academia and industry for a day of

In support of our sponsorship of Leeds Digital Festival (LDF), which last year attracted more than 20,000 attendees to the city, Nexus will run three events:
- 23 April The Data Shed and Amazon Web Services (early evening)
- 2 May Women In Leeds Digital (WILD) (daytime event); and
- 3 May Nexus and LUBS Fintech (early evening).

Working with water@leeds one of the largest interdisciplinary centres for cutting-edge water research in the world Nexus will also host numerous events this year to mark the organisations tenth anniversary. And in collaboration with Bettakultcha the independent forum for ideas, inventiveness and fun Nexus is running a series of innovative discussion events. The first in the series took place last month and looked at the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technology on society. The next event will take place on the 17 April.
