Mrs Frances Ledgard
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 6 February 2019, of Mrs Frances Ledgard, former Administrator in the Central Administration.
Frances joined the University as an Administrative Assistant in 1990. In 1991 she became the University’s Information and Press Officer, before moving to the City and Regional Office in 1996. Her final two years before retirement in 2002 were spent as a Work Experience Officer in the Skills and Employability Unit.
The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday 22 February 2019 at St Chad’s Church, Far Headingley, Otley Road, LS16 5JT, and afterwards at Weetwood Hall. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Children’s Air Ambulance.
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on 22 February in Frances’s memory.
