Register to attend REF2021 open meetings

The Research and Innovation Service is hosting a further round of open meetings for all colleagues regarding the University’s preparations for REF2021.

REF (Research Excellence Framework) is the system for assessing the quality of research in UK higher education institutions, a process undertaken every seven years. Leeds was ranked 10th in the UK for research power in REF2014.

The open meetings will be chaired by Professor Lisa Roberts, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Innovation.

The latest open meetings are scheduled for 11am on Tuesday 12 February and 1pm on Tuesday 19 February, although the venues are still to be confirmed.

The focus of these meetings will be on the key documents published by the UK’s four higher education (HE) funding bodies, which provide guidance to universities when submitting their research to REF2021. Updates regarding the University’s Code of Practice will also be discussed.

Register to attend via Eventbrite.

We welcome queries and comments via email in advance of the meetings.
