EU settlement scheme – access to an Android smart phone

More appointment slots are now available for colleagues who would like the use of an android smart phone to apply for pre-settled or settled status through the EU Settlement Scheme pilot.

Map of Europe

Appointments to use the phone are available on the following days:

  • Wednesday 12 December
  • Thursday 13 December
  • Friday 14 December
  • Monday 17 December
  • Wednesday 19 December
  • Thursday 20 December
  • Friday 21 December

To make an appointment, follow this booking link, add your name to the left-hand column, select the slot that suits you best and press ‘send’.

The booking scheduler has been set up so that you can only select one appointment and once you’ve confirmed your selection, no-one else can book that slot. Only the organiser can see other appointment requests.

If you’re not able to attend this week, you can enter your name and click the “Send Cannot Attend” button and HR will arrange further appointments.

IMPORTANT: You’ll need to bring your own mobile phone with you to your appointment as the Home Office will send you a PIN number.

If you’ve decided to wait until the scheme’s open fully to apply, you’ll also be able to use the phone then to scan your chip.  Once we know when this will happen, we’ll communicate further appointment dates.

UK Visas and Immigration has also made scanners available in various locations, the closest of which is Hull.
