Give back this Christmas
The University’s branch of UNISON is welcoming donations for The Trussell Trust and Homeless Street Angels in the run-up to Christmas.
UNISON is collecting donations for Leeds-area foodbank, The Trussell Trust, and charity, Homeless Street Angels, who prepare meals and donations for those living on the city streets.
By donating tins of foods (or other non-perishable goods, such as sanitary products) UNISON members can get a ticket to enter the Branch Christmas Raffle – limited to one ticket per member. Non-members will not be able to enter the raffle but are still welcome to donate.
Collection will take place at the Branch Committee Room, EC Stoner Room 7.52, on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 December, from 11.30am to 2pm.
Contact Chris Money or Angela Blackburn to arrange collection outside these times. The deadline for donating is Tuesday 11 December.
