Brexit legal update

Emma Brooksbank, Partner and immigration specialist at Freeths Solicitors, will be visiting the University on Wednesday 6 June 2018 to update staff on Brexit developments and to answer general queries

The free session will cover developments in the situation for European nationals and their family members in the UK, as well as permanent residence and citizenship applications, together with the proposal from government relating to settled status. This will include the practicalities of making an application and key areas of difficulty.

Emma, who will be on campus from 2-3.30pm, is also happy to discuss any questions or concerns from, or about, undocumented Commonwealth citizens.

The update will be held in room G23 at 28 University Road (formerly Geography East). Visit Eventbrite for more details and to book your place.

The session is designed to leave room for discussion and there will be ample time at the end for questions.

Please note Emma will not be able to give detailed advice on individual cases at these sessions. However, one-to-one meetings are available, free of charge, with her or a colleague. Contact Lisa Courtney if you're interested in booking a personal meeting.
