New website to support updated investment appraisal process
New templates and guidance have been created to improve the investment appraisal process, which supports the decision making for capital investments.
Over the past 12 months, a team of colleagues from across the University have been working to improve the process. Examples of when the process is used could include the development of a major building project or a strategic initiative to increase collaboration between faculties.
The new set of templates and guidance can be found on the Facilities Directorate website. The team have worked to ensure that the process is now easier to follow with updated guidance and support, clearly identified roles and responsibilities, and an aim for improved consistency and quality of business cases.
