Taking place on 3 May 2018, the festival provides the opportunity to meet people from the University's Themes and Platforms, which drive and support the development of interdisciplinary research.

The free event – running from 2.30pm to 6pm at Parkinson Court – will showcase examples of how our researchers work across the disciplines to tackle global grand challenges and provide the chance to make new connections.

The University's new Chancellor, Dame Jane Francis, will be the keynote speaker for this event. As Director of the British Antarctic Survey, Dame Francis has a strong understanding of the value of bringing different disciplines together to achieve great things.
