Campus works disruption to disabled access

Disabled access to the Michael Sadler building will be restricted during three weekends as part of ongoing electrical systems works.

Campus works disruption to disabled access

Engie, the contractor employed by the University and NHS Trust to fit out the Generating Station Complex (GSC), will be digging a trench from the footpath between Social Sciences and Marjorie and Arnold Ziff around Michael Sadler to the corner of Baines Wing (see the yellow line on the map). This is to lay ducts to allow the installation of new electrical cables.

Work will start on the Saturday 24 March 2018 for a six-week period.

The automatic single side door to Michael Sadler will be closed for the following four weekends – 24/25 March, 30 March/1 April and 7/8 April. Unfortunately, this severely restricts disabled access.

Please bear with us as we continue to progress these essential works. Thank you for your patience and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
