IT Security training
The Advanced IT Security awareness course is being relaunched along with a new version of the Essentials course which incorporates a short quiz.
The Essentials short course, which is designed to ensure that all staff understand the risks and their own responsibilities to help keep information secure, must be completed every year.
The Advanced course, to be completed every three years, is mandatory for staff who create, process or handle ‘classified’ information in their role. It consists of nine bite-sized modules, each of which take 15 minutes or less to complete.
You’ll receive reminder emails when you are due to complete the training, so please look out for them.
Everyone who completes the advanced training by Friday 8 December will be entered into a prize draw for one of ten Love2Shop vouchers. If you’ve already done the training, you’ll be in the prize draw.
