John Schwarzenbach
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, at the end of September, of John Schwarzenbach, former Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical Engineering.
John came to the University as a Lecturer in 1964 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 1993. In 1996 John became a co-ordinator for the study abroad programmes in the International and School Liaison Office until his retirement in 1999 after thirty-five years’ service to the University.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2.30pm on Sunday 5 November in the Wesley Hall at the Methodist Church, Boroughate, Otley, LS21 1HB.
