LUTube retirement
The LUTube video service will be retired on 12 September 2017. From that date, videos accessed directly from LUTube or from embedded links in University websites or the VLE will no longer be viewable.
LUTube has been replaced by VideoLeeds, part of the University’s Mediasite Lecture Capture and Media Management system. LUTube content that has been viewed 10 times or more since January 2016 has been migrated to Mediasite. Content producers are responsible for re-publishing their videos and updating embedded links with the new Mediasite link.
If you are unable to view a LUTube video because the embedded link has not been updated, or you have LUTube content that hasn’t been moved to Mediasite and is still required, please contact the IT Service Desk, via the web, by emailing itservicedesk@leeds.ac.uk or by calling 0113 343 3333.
