Ongoing works from Monday 7 August
Minimum local disruption and walking diversions around campus are to be expected. Some areas may be affected by digging noise.
Engie, the contractor employed by the University and NHS Trust to fit out the Generating Station Complex (GSC), will be digging trial holes along the path of the new cable routes on campus to establish ground conditions.
The trial hole works will start on Monday across a four-week period and each hole will be dug and reinstated within two days.
