Sustainability in practice

A new training course in sustainable practice has been introduced for all staff this summer.

The Sustainability in Practice course explains why sustainability is important and ensures that we all have the knowledge and skills to put it into practice.

It gives concrete examples of how we all play a part in ensuring that the University has a positive environmental, social and economic impact.

The online course is part of a wider training programme for staff that covers induction, procurement training, the role of the manager (soon to be called Management Essentials) and the environmental management system. A paper-based, workshop version of the course is available for colleagues who don't have an IT login.

For more information contact the Sustainability Service or see the training page of the Sustainability website.
