Calls for Light Night 2017

Are you looking for an opportunity to present your research to the public? Could you consider doing this at Leeds Light Night, taking place on 6 October, 6-10pm?

On Friday 6 of October, in association with Leeds City Council, the University will open its doors to show research within the remit of Leeds Light Night.

The theme of Light Night 2017, is ‘People and the City’ which will encompass the different communities that call Leeds home and prominent people and stories from the city, historical and contemporary. The council are also keen to see works which require people to power. If you think your research fits with this theme of Light Night, please consider putting an application together, we have small pots of funding available and applications are now open! The deadline is 5pm 2 June 2017.

The applications will be assessed by a panel, outcomes of applications will be known by the beginning of July.
