Leeds 2023: call for ideas
The team behind the Leeds bid for European Capital of Culture 2023 are calling on you to share your ideas for their artistic programme.
If Leeds is successful in its bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2023, the city will be an international stage, concert hall, gallery, laboratory, and centre of creation for the year, showcasing and celebrating art and culture.
Four programme themes have been identified after consultation across the city, and the Leeds 2023 team are calling on you to respond to these themes with your own creative ideas.
The four themes are:
- Fabric
- Fear & Belonging
- Voice
- Room
The call for ideas closes on Thursday 23 March. Unleash your wildest imagination and dream of the boldest, most ambitious, experimental and provoking responses to the four themes.
Complete the Expression of Interest form and send it back to the Leeds 2023 Programme Team. You don’t have to have your artists or venues booked and budgets nailed, the team just want you to imagine how you can bring the city to life.
Every Expression of Interest received will be considered.
