USA travel ban - advice and support

Advice for staff and students on the USA travel ban.

The following advice for our students has been published on the Portal and on the SES for students website.  Staff seeking advice should contact their faculty HR manager.

"USA travel ban – advice and support

In light of recent events and current changes to travel arrangements imposed by presidential executive order, we would like to reassure and remind our community of students that support is available from the University for people who need advice and help.

The International Student Office on Level 11, Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Building holds drop-in sessions every weekday morning from 1030 – 1200, offering specialist advice on a wide range of issues including immigration and travel. They can also be emailed at internationalstudents@leeds.ac.uk

Leeds University Union (LUU) Student Advice team also offers confidential advice and support. The team can be found on the first floor of LUU or via email advice@luu.leeds.ac.uk

The Universities Chaplaincy – chaplaincy@leeds.ac.uk – and the Muslim Student Adviser – email F.Yaqoob@leeds.ac.uk from 6 February – are available to all students to offer listening support and guidance."
